Infant Toddler Floater
Job Description:
-Provide room coverage at lunch and other times when necessary
-Maintain classroom control, management, and sanitation
-Provide a normal routine by maintaining daily schedule
-Maintaining the Center’s policies and procedures
-Attend on-going training
-Providing instruction in absence of regular classroom teacher
-Use materials provided to attain lesson goals
-Direct the classroom, accomplishing curriculum objectives and goals outlined in the lesson plans
-Keep classroom and work orderly, and maintain normal classroom rhythms
-Comply with all procedures, guidelines, and policies of the school at all times
-Maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents, including a commitment to confidentiality
-Perform additional duties as needed
**Demonstrate full range of motion. Be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements.
Qualifications:
-At MINIMUM, Early Childhood Credential (2 year or 4 year degree in early childhood education or related field preferred)
-Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
-Passionate about working with children
-Ability to build rapport with children and families
-Positive and patient demeanor
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Work Schedule: 10-4
Hours per Week: 40 hours
